Shared Visions, featuring Richard Weis paintings and Nancy Weis encaustic collages runs May 25 – June 24, 2012 at THT's Jackson Gallery, with an Artists' Reception on Friday, June 8, 5 to 7 pm.
Nancy and Richard Weis have been active participants in the Vermont arts community since 1989. The Castleton artists met as undergraduates at Bemidji State University in Minnesota and have worked together for over forty years, actively involving themselves in both studio work and teaching. The exhibit will feature Dick's dynamic and colorful abstract paintings along with Nancy's intriguing small scale collages combining encaustic painting with natural objects.
