Photographer Ellen Fisch Exhibits New Photography Art Form

Photographer Ellen Fisch Exhibits New Photography Art Form

New York based photographer, Ellen Fisch, specializing in architectural photography, recently landed her works in the Jadite Galleries in Midtown Manhattan at 413 West 50th St, NY. The "Park Slope/Prospect Park" exhibit will run from February 7th - March 9th, 2013 and feature some of her latest experiments with enhanced photography.

The exhibit has already received rave reviews and positive press and reception to her works of art.

"It's been an incredible opportunity for me to showcase this new form of photographic art that I've been experimenting with," says Photographer Ellen Fisch. "I wanted to try something different with my architectural photographs through different mediums of art."

Fisch's latest artistry utilizes enhancing her photographs through designs with pencil, charcoal, pastel, and even 24K gold leaf additions, resulting in this new form of photographic ingenuity.

With a background in painting and drawing, she uses traditional fine art concepts to create visuals that go well beyond conventional interpretations of her architectural subjects.

"In order to grow as a photographer and as an artist, I am always exploring new approaches to my work," says Fisch. "What I noticed is that when used as accents and in small amounts, other art materials will add depth and subtle nuances to photography."

Through gaining positive feedback from the exhibit's showcase and taking her work to the next level through this enhanced photography, Ellen hopes to create more unique works and share her art with more art-lovers, like herself.
