MoMA PS1 celebrates the influence of Kraftwerk with legedary DJ's in the performance dome every Sunday, now through May 13. Greg Wilson, DJ Harvey, Questlove, and DJ Afrika Bambaataa pay tribute to the German Electro-pioneers amidst the special installation Kraftwerk - Retrospective 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 at the MoMA PS1, 22-25 Jackson Avenue, Long Island City. Admission is $10 in advance / $15 at the door. Tickets are available online here.

Kraftwerk - Retrospective 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 is a special audio and visual installation in the MoMA PS1 Performance Dome that is organized in conjunction with The Museum of Modern Art's live performance retrospective of Kraftwerk, which ran April 10 through 17.

Last weekend, techno pioneers Juan Atkins and Francois K—joined by surprise guest Ralf Huetter—paid tribute to Kraftwerk's influence with unforgettable DJ sets amidst Kraftwerk - Retrospective 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8, Every Sunday for the remainder of the exhibition (through May 13), legendary DJ's Greg Wilson, DJ Harvey, Questlove, and DJ Afrika Bambaataa will explore different facets of Kraftwerk's pioneering sound, which influenced musical styles as diverse as Electro-Funk, Disco, New Wave, Techno, and Hip-Hop.

Greg Wilson is regarded as one of the most important figures on the UK dance scene where he was instrumental in introducing new electronic, post-disco records coming out of New York in the early 1980s. The sound, he dubbed 'Electro-Funk', was in return profoundly influenced by the German electro-pioneers Kraftwerk.
