The Gladstone Arts Commission is set to present the work of Carole Booth as the 1st solo exhibition for 2012 at the Gladstone Community Center. On April 3rd from 6:00-8:00 pm the “First Tuesday” of April 2012 we will showcase Booth's beautiful pastels. This exhibition will be displayed for 8 weeks as part of the Gladstone Community Center Public Art Space.
Although she is well versed in working with a variety of mediums, Carole Booth is particularly fond of pastels. Booth is drawn to the vibrant colors you can achieve with pastels, and yet still maintain a soft impressionist like style. Many of her works feature water and/or figures, and are inspired by the “unseen” beauty in everyday life. Her work has won numerous awards and ban be found in both private and public collections. We are pleased to bring her work to the attention of the community. Light refreshments will be provided by Gladstone Hyvee.
The Gladstone Arts Commission with the Gladstone Community Public Art Space is pleased to invite the greater Kansas City Community to a public art show. We look forward to seeing you all in Gladstone on Tuesday, April 3rd from 6-8 pm. Refreshments will be served.
